ians sequence and motion critique

1. The first photo is the BUTTERFLY ON THE FENCE, I really like this photo because they are very similar yet very different first, they were clearly taken in the same area but they both have a very different composition in the structure of the fence and the positioning of the butterfly. I like that they both show the butterfly in two different angles but both show equal importance. The texture on the fence is awesome. I like how the sun is coming from the back of the fence creating good lighting.  The only thing that i would change is the angle of the first photo to line up the horizontally so they line up and match..

2. LEAFS: The second set of photos are interesting because the focus in the first photo is clearly on the leaf in the forefront and the the background isn't in focus.  the second photo the focus is not on leaf and more on the background so the relation of the two is nice in this series of photos. The lighting helps the texture of the first photo.  the leafs pop you can see all the lines in the leaf.  The second photo is a little out of focus i don't see one focus point.

3. WATCH: Sik watch, I like the idea of this photo I just wish it was take a couple step further and showed the watch in 5 different stages at 5 diffrent times of the day. this would have really kept my attention for a good while trying to figure out if there was a different pattern to the times. but they were both taken with in seconds. also with the angles the second photo seem to be perfectly upright where as the the first watch seems to be slightly tilted to the left!

i think all of your ideas are strong.

1st writing Assignment
A photo that speaks to me::

would have to be a my background picture.
I stumbled upon this picture and fell in love.  This pictures brings  many different thoughts to mind, the first thought is the amount of food monks eat and to think he is more concerned with feeding this amazing animal.
It's crazy how brave he is to get so close to what most of us think is a dangerous animal.
As you see the tiger is just like any other animal who has essential needs as food and water.
This picture makes me want to know the relationship of these two after this meal together?
Did the tiger become comfortable with human interaction?
Did the monk continue to share his future meals?
All these questions are created by a
 stop motion photo
that creates the level of mystery it is a
open frame
that is set on a medium aperture
with a quick shutter speed!
