final critique of rhondas Photos with text

I chose to critique rhoda's last 3 photos the first one states: "i've got nothing to do today but smile"
i like the angle of the curved text.. it creates a interesting line.  the text  creates a good balance to the rule of thirds.  The bright blue background creates a pop of color against the bright flowers.. the texture of the wall is nice too..
2. the second photo that i chose is the moth on the web.  The quote is perfectly related to the photo as we have no control over what is going to happen as if it has already been written.   i like that the most of this photo is in black and white with subtle pops of neutral color it creates a mysterious atmosphere. that also ties back into the quote. the web creates a lot of interesting lines converging lines and also lots of zig-zag lines.. I also like the position of the moth it seems like he is upside down which intensifies the feeling of this photo.  Over all i think this is your strongest photo because it has a spooky yet truthfulness about it!
3. the last photo that i chose is the parish chapel office photo.. i like this photo because of the texture of the text on the sign. the wood on wood look creates lots of textures that is interesting!
I also like that you considered your background and framed the statue behind you in the photo.. the flowers that are surrounding the statute pop. They tie back in with the color and the highlights of the sign .. and all of it is contrasted by the green in the landscape. The only critique i have is I wish you would have taken one step to your left so that the right side of the flowered arch would also show up in the frame.  I like the variation of greens in the leafs.
